My name is Dave and I currently live in Somerset, UK. I have been interested in Astronomy for many years on and off but only recently have I really taken this hobby up full time. The wonders of the night sky are a great sight to see and the more I see the more I want to learn. All of the images here were captured by myself either at home or at my second home, The Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth, Devon using my own telescopes and cameras. Quite soon after getting my first GOTO scope I realised that I wanted to be able to record what I was seeing, hence my foray into astrophotography, a very dark art that takes a long time to learn, I am only just beginning to understand and hope that in time the quality of my final images will improve with the increase in my knowledge and skills.
